Alphabet Q3: Google Cloud revenue doubles to $30.7bn, capex hits record $51.4bn, free cash flow negative

Fortune reports that Google Cloud revenue more than doubled to $30.7 billion in the third quarter, while capital expenditure reached a record $51.4 billion and free cash flow was negative $9.1 billion. Alphabet confirmed its full-year capex forecast, with spending expected to reach $200 billion in 2026 and then rise to $300 billion in 2027. After-hours shares fell more than 11%, wiping out more than $280 billion in market value.
