What Happened

CNBC reports that Meta sought to raise $20bn to $25bn in a bond sale on 3 November, split about two-thirds in US dollars and one-third in euros. The sale came days after S&P Global Ratings moved Meta's outlook from AA- stable to AA- negative, citing uncertainty over capex and negative free cash flow. Meta's full-year capex guidance is $135bn to $145bn, and it said last week it plans to raise $95bn, made up of $35bn in underwritten equity offerings and $60bn through an at-the-market programme.
