Laurenceo lowers Anthropic US listing forecast to 84% after IPO timing slips
A 66% market price for an Anthropic IPO by year-end and a pattern of slipped listing targets pulled the estimate down.
Laurenceo has lowered its forecast that Anthropic common stock will be listed and trading on a US exchange by 31 December 2026, from 94% to 84%. The change is dated 6 November 2026. The question resolves YES on exchange records or an SEC 424B prospectus.
Why It Moved
The main input was a Polymarket price of 66% for "Will Anthropic IPO by December 31, 2026?", on which about $1,613,057 has traded 1. The forecast's stated rationale says the estimate moves halfway toward that price. Applied to the 94% starting point, that weighting would give 80%, so the published 84% sits above the calculation the rationale describes. The wider case rests on reported facts. Anthropic confidentially submitted a draft S-1 on 1 June 2026 and has been reported to target a mid-November listing, after earlier targets moved from September to mid-October. A full public filing was expected in October. A reported pause in IPO activity, linked to Treasury yields above 5%, also weighs against a firm date, while a long runway and a banking consortium keep November or December in view.
Any confirmed listing date would test the estimate, including the reported mid-November target, which falls after this change. A further move in the Polymarket price, which the forecast tracks, would also prompt a revision, as would a sustained rise in Treasury yields above the level linked to the reported pause.
