CISA flags exploited Palo Alto PAN-OS, Cisco Secure Email Gateway and Ahsay flaws

A three-day remediation window indicates how urgently CISA rates these flaws, and private organisations should work to a similar timeline. Root-level code execution on a firewall gives an attacker control of the device meant to enforce segmentation. Management interfaces should be restricted to dedicated administrative networks as a standing control, since this class of flaw depends on that exposure. Backup platforms such as AhsayCBS also warrant attention, because compromising them undermines ransomware recovery.

What Happened

On 14 October 2026, CISA added four actively exploited vulnerabilities to its KEV Catalog: CVE-2026-0322 in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS, CVE-2026-76519 in Cisco Secure Email Gateway, and CVE-2026-105133 and CVE-2026-105134 in Ahsay AhsayCBS. The PAN-OS flaw allows an authenticated attacker with network access to the management interface to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the firewall. CISA gave US federal civilian agencies until 17 October 2026 to address the vulnerabilities.
